CRISP News

Hi All

Wednesday 5th June is Seed Cleaning evening. Starting at 7pm we will be preparing seeds that have been collected for storage, sharing conversation and cake. Let us know if you can join us for this productive evening.

We are currently collecting information for our next newsletter which will be distributed in Mid July – if you have anything you wish to contribute send photos, articles and environmental information to the editorlhibbs@ihug.com.au by June 10.

Now is an ideal time to plant, while the weather is still a bit mild. Our sales area is well stocked with tubes and 6” pots of most of our species available. We are open for sales on Wednesday and Friday from 9.30 – 12.30 and every Saturday from 10am – 1pm.

Come in a pick up a copy of our great new booklet ‘Indigenous Gardens – Creating habitat for people and wildlife in Maroondah’ and get some new inspiration for your garden. This booklet is also available to download from our website http://home.vicnet.net.au/~crisp/indig_gardens.html . Also available at the nursery are the beautifully illustrated cards featuring local indigenous plants by Ruth Jackson for $4.00 each.

If you are planning an activity for National Tree Day you will need to get your plant orders in ASAP. For more information on National Tree Day check out the website http://treeday.planetark.org/
