Come and see this significant collection of over 90 original works featuring native varieties of orchids, lilies, wildflowers and fungi, offering viewers an insight into the beauty of the natural world. This is a ‘not to be missed’ exhibition.

As part of our current exhibition Drawn from the Collection: Maroondah’s Bushland Treasures by botanical illustrator Ruth Jackson we welcome you to join us for what will be a fascinating series of talks about Maroondah’s Bushlands. Hear from the experts about the fascinating plant life of native orchids and the ecology of our local environment while learning from local conservation groups about what measures can be taken to protect our bushland treasures.

11:30am Orchids through history: what can we learn from them?
Dr Graeme Lorimer, local environmental scientist with a specialisation in the flora, fauna and ecology of Maroondah and surrounding areas.
