Our next Monday Mornings in the Reserves outing will be on 20thMarch. We will be meeting at 9am at Old Lilydale Rd in East Ringwood, in the service road (between Everard Rd and Holland Rd Mel 50 C5). We will be continuing to spread mulch in preparation for planting later in the year. If you would like to join us please bring your own gloves and tools, morning tea will be provided.

 Our next Seed Cleaning evening will be on March 29th from 7pm – 9pm. We will meet in the tearoom at the nursery and prepare seed that has been collected for sowing and storage, whilst indulging in conversation and cake. All welcome.

 The Nursery Sales Area is open on Wednesdays and Fridays 9.30am – 12.30pm during our volunteer sessions and Saturdays 10am – 1pm. Now is the time to start planning for autumn planting. We have good stock availability in both tubestock and 140mm pots. Please note our new prices for 2017 tubestock now $1.50 for members, $2.00 non members, 140mm pots now $4 for members & $5.50 non members. All sales are cash only unless by prior arrangement.

 Earth Hour Event

This is the 10-year anniversary of Earth Hour – and the theme this year is Join the Future. To celebrate, Transition Towns Maroondah and Council are hosting a series of community workshops and displays on Saturday 25 March atRealm/Ringwood Town Square.

Let’s get you rolling! Cycling Workshop, 01.00pm-02.30pm, a workshop to help give you the confidence to start cycling again, along with information about great cycling routes in Maroondah.
Cool Green Homes Workshop, 03.00pm-04.30pm, come and find out how to assess your site and use plants and vegetation to help cool down your home and outdoor spaces.
