Last Sunday’s working bee

A lot was done last Sunday!

225 new plants have a home at Heathmont Park, especially lots of indigenous grasses, hop goodenias and casuarinas. This in addition to a great deal of weeding.

A huge difference has been made to this site since it was dominated by pittosporums and Wonga vine only a few years ago. Now it is flourishing thanks to, among others, the the weeding and replanting efforts of Heathmont Bushcare.

The council has also done a wonderful job with fencing, landscaping and with storm water management. Great what a difference can be made with some hard work!
