Notice of CRISP Nursery AGM
Thursday 17th March 7.30pm
Room 3 Maroondah Federation Estate.
32 Greenwood Ave Ringwood
The CRISP President and Treasurer will share the activities and developments at CRISP since our last AGM. This will be followed by an election of Committee members (nomination forms available from the nursery), a presentation from our guest speaker Brian Bainbridge and supper. Cards and prints featuring local species by Botanical Illustrator Ruth Jackson will be available for purchase on the night. Cards $4 each, Prints $15 unmounted $40 mounted.
BRIAN BAINBRIDGE is an Ecological Restoration Planner investigating the Victorian Volcanic Plains and has worked for many years with the Merri Creek Management Committee.
He retired last year as President of the Indigenous Flora and Fauna Association and has had an award winning suburban garden. This indigenous garden attracted a diversity of wildlife and was a valuable habitat link to nearby bushland.
His topic for the AGM will be, “Pollination Pathways- Plant Conservation”. This topic is very relevant to the sustainability of our environment and a reminder of the significance of growing local plants.
