Dear Everyone,
Socially, economically, politically and environmentally the world has changed dramatically since 2011 when Transition Towns Maroondah’s first Strategic Plan was written.
Now it is time to review the old and build a new practical document which we can turn to for guidance and which will give us clear direction as we move forward.
New statistics tell us of unprecedented global temperature rises and it is obvious that we are not going to have any chance of changing this ugly scenario without unified action.
If you believe TTM can play an important role in Maroondah, if you believe you have some good ideas, and/or if you have experience writing Strategic Plans, please come to 8 Rotherwood Ave, Ringwood East next Sunday, 20th March from 4 – 6 pm. – no ongoing commitments required! We value your input and want this new document to reflect the goals of our members.
We will be fortunate to have Phil Medley from the Maroondah City Council who will guide us on our way
If you cannot come but do have some ideas please respond by return email.
PS – You can see the old Strategic Plan under the heading, ‘About us’ at ttm.org.au
