Our next Monday Morning in the Reserves will be on 8th Feb from 9am. We will be meeting at Cherry Tree Reserve Croydon, enter from the end of Strathfield Parade (Mel 50 E 1). We are going to expand the existing revegetation beds in preparation for Autumn planting and do some weeding in the previously planted beds. If you would like to join us please bring your own gloves, all tools and morning tea will be provided.

The first seed cleaning evening for the year will be on Wednesday 24th Feb at 7pm in the tearoom at the nursery. Supper will be provided.

CRISP AGM Thursday 17th March 7.30pm Maroondah Federation Estate.

Guest speaker BRIAN BAINBRIDGE is an Ecological Restoration Planner investigating the Victorian Volcanic Plains and has worked for many years with the Merri Creek Management Committee.

He retired last year as President of the Indigenous Flora and Fauna Association and has had an award winning suburban garden. This indigenous garden attracted a diversity of wildlife and was a valuable habitat link to nearby bushland.

His topic for the AGM will be, “ Pollination Pathways- Plant Conservation “ This topic is very relevant to the  sustainability of our environment and a reminder of the significance of growing local plants.
