Hi All
Seed Cleaning evening tonight Wednesday 27th May in the nursery tea room from 7pm – 9pm. Come and join us as we prepare seed, that was collected over summer. We sit around the tea room tables enjoying conversation and supper while removing pods and other plant material leaving loose seeds ready for sowing or storing.
Our next Monday Mornings in the Reserves will be at Heathmont Oval on Monday 1st of June. We will meet in the carpark at the corner of Waterloo St and Cuthbert St (Melways 63 J1) at 9am and continue work in the reserve with hand weeding and some revegetation planting. If you would like to join us please bring your own gloves – tools and morning tea will be provided.
National Tree Day is coming up on Sunday 26th July or for schools Friday 24th July – if you would like to get involved check out the website http://treeday.planetark.org/
Our Sales Area is well stocked and now is a good time to get planting while the ground is wet and the roots can establish. We also have a good supply of greeting cards and prints depicting local species by Botanical Artist Ruth Jackson. Please see opening times below and note that all sales are cash only unless by prior arrangement.
