Monday Mornings in the Reserves This coming Monday Morning, May 19th, 9am – 12pm, we will meeting at the Kalinda Urban Forest – Behind Kalinda Primary School (Melways 50 C 1). Enter from Marcia Close if driving – walkway entrances are in Berkley Rd, Mundara Way and Holyrood Crescent. We will be targeting woody weeds in this reserve. Please bring your own gloves – tools and morning tea will be provided.
Seed Cleaning Evening – our next seed cleaning evening will be in the tea room at the nurseryWednesday May 28th from 7pm – 9pm. Supper included.
Save the Date – General Meeting – Our general meeting will be held on Thursday 17th July at the Maroondah Federation Estate at 7.30pm. The guest speaker for the evening will be Graeme Lorimer speaking about the role of indigenous nurseries in conserving locally threatened plants.
National Tree Day – will be on Sunday 27th July & Schools Tree Day Friday 25th July, http://treeday.planetark.org check the website for opportunities to get involved.
