The Maroondah Environment Advisory Committee has been established to inform and advise Council on environmental and sustainability issues and Council’s role in improving the environment in Maroondah. This includes the effective implementation and review of the Maroondah Sustainability Strategy 2009 and related strategies and actions.

Call for nominations
Council is calling for nominations for eight community representatives for the Committee including professional/ industry representatives, commencing mid 2014.

The commitment expected from members is participation at quarterly meetings. There will be optional involvement in other community based events.

We are seeking nominations from people who are:

Passionate about creating a vibrant and sustainable built and natural environment
Experienced in environmental management, natural resource management or sustainability.
