Dear Mullum Mullum Festival supporter,
You are invited to the AGM of the Mullum Mullum Festival on Saturday 12 October, and to the presentation which will precede this AGM.
Paul Mahony, environmental and animal rights campaigner will give a presentation at 4 pm on:
“OMISSIONS OF EMISSIONS: OUR ENVIRONMENT, LIVESTOCK AND THE CLIMATE CRISIS”
Paul will talk about the anthropogenic climate change crisis and demonstrate the impact of animal agriculture on climate and thus the environment we live in and care about. Paul will also discuss measures that must be taken if we are to overcome the crisis.
We would also like to take this opportunity to invite you to join us in organising the next festival. We have several roles that still need to be filled. We would especially like to hear from someone willing to be a member of the subcommittee organising the photographic competition which will be held as part of the next festival. A fair bit of work has been done on this already, but we need someone who is willing to assist in pulling it all together.
Regards,
Monique and the rest of the Mullum Mullum Festival organising team
