Thanks!

Last Sunday we held our Introduction to Bushcare and Morning Tea.

What a fantastic turnout on such a lovely autumn morning.  Preparations had begun earlier in the month with flyer drops, meetings, talking to local residents and arranging the morning tea.  (The scones where fabulous!)

It was good to see about forty local residents (including lots of kids!) turn up at 10.00am for a morning of weeding, tree planting and a bush walk with a talk from our group leader, Roger.  It was especially great to see the local kids enjoying themselves and having a great time tree planting!  They managed to plant 100 trees in record time.  Below are some photos taken from the day.

A big thanks to all the local residents who attended.  It is heart warming to have your support and we trust that you all enjoyed yourselves.

We really do hope to see you at our next working bee.
